Dear Parents:
Raising a child is one of the most important endeavors a human being can undertake. It will contribute to the health and well-being of our society, our communities, and our world. And while it can be an incredibly rewarding experience and accomplishment, at times, it can be excruciatingly painful.
For thousands of years, most of us have been raising children with very few tools to assist us in this process. Furthermore, children were raised in an autocratic environment where “they should be seen, but not heard”, where they had absolutely no voice in the decisions or choices taken in family matters, and where generation after generation the same old programs and patterns continued to be passed on.
Since the 1960’s however, the old ways of raising children began to have a counterproductive effect on the newer generations which compelled them to rebel and to begin to question everything which was being handed down to them. Unfortunately, the parents of these children were at a loss, and did not know how to deal with these kids which were no longer accepting and following the status quo.
This course will help you identify the programs and patterns you carry which are no longer serving you, and which may be hindering your relationship with your child. It will help you understand your child’s behaviors, and show you how to deal with them in a positive manner which builds and encourages trust. Most of all, I believe it can help you to have the courage and commitment which are necessary to make this one of the most rewarding experiences and accomplishments of your life.
It is with great honor that I recommend this course. Sergio has evolved into a highly conscious being who is increasingly aware of how our thoughts, words, actions, intentions and perceptions affect and create our reality. His life has been transformed in the past 15 years, and although he has some wonderful achievements, I feel this course is the biggest accomplishment yet.
